CHARACTER TRAITS OF HETEROSEXUAL WOMEN PRACTICING ALTERNATIVE FAITHS
Abstract: The article deals with a psychological analysis of character traits in heterosexual
women practicing the occult. The aim of the research is to identify certain personality traits of
heterosexual women and to compare them with a control group of respondents. The author uses
the psychological character questionnaire Accent of Personality of Leonhard and Shmishek for the
research. There are 58 respondents with Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian female nationality in
the sample. The average age of the participants is 27.5 years. Quantitative research takes place in
the years 2021-2022 and is carried out by electronic data collection via Google Forms. From the
statistical results, the author concludes that there is a significant difference between the levels of
hyperthymia, dysthymia and demonstrativeness in the two sample of participants. The results of
current research may be useful for clinical psychologists targeting clients with increased anxiety,
dysthymia, hypertension, exaltation, and other character traits. The results can also be used by
the staff of the centers when working with adolescents who are interested in the occult but do
not profess any religion. Psychologists can use the results obtained in psychological training or
psychodrama to normalize the emotional behavior of participants.
